After completing the course, you should know how to plan, implement and document the tending of young stands in accordance with priorities, work orders or instructions, legislation, certification schemes and health, safety and environment (HSE).
The target groups for this course consist of professional forestry workers, forest managers and managers within the operational forestry sector. The course is also suitable for active forest owners. It is not a requirement that participants have prior training within forestry.
The course has been updated in accordance with the new Norwegian PEFC Forest Certification System (applicable from 01.03.2023).
Caution! Remember that the use of brush saws requires documented safety training, which the online course does not provide.
